Smart Dimming works through an advanced combination of hardware and software, calculating spectrum setpoints using live and forecast data on sunlight, weather and energy services, as well as sensor information. Powered by RED's exclusive RED Mesh protocol, communication between the MyRED box and luminaires is seamless. As the intensity of natural light changes, Smart Dimming gradually reallocates energy to the most efficient LED colors, such as red, which promote photosynthesis and balance growth.
