Tomato quality: The effect of cold on logistics circuits
Description
What impact do current logistics practices have on tomato quality? The choice of variety determines quality potential. Practices such as ripening stage at harvest, storage temperature and length of storage will determine whether or not this quality is achieved. Test results on the organoleptic and nutritional qualities of tomatoes will be presented.
